In July 2026, the 2.5T marine hydraulic slewing crane custom-designed and manufactured by Haitai Crane for a Nigerian customer completed all pre-shipment preparations. The crane was successfully loaded and dispatched according to the customer’s requirements and is now on its way to the designated port. This shipment marks the project’s transition from factory manufacturing to international transportation and on-site installation, representing another important step toward final delivery.

The crane completed full-machine commissioning at our factory in April 2026 and successfully passed BV certification. Following the certification, the project team immediately began a series of preparations for shipment, including equipment disassembly, professional packaging, component reinforcement and transport protection. These measures were carried out to ensure the equipment remains properly protected throughout transportation and is ready for subsequent installation at the customer’s site.

The 2.5T marine hydraulic slewing crane shipped for this project was specially designed for lifting operations on vessel decks. With a compact layout, hydraulic drive and flexible slewing operation, the crane is well suited to the limited working space and demanding conditions commonly found on board vessels. Its good corrosion resistance also allows it to better withstand the marine environment during long-term operation.

From factory manufacturing and full-machine commissioning to BV certification, disassembly, packaging, reinforcement and final loading, every stage of the project was carried out in an orderly manner according to the planned process. With the crane now shipped, the project has entered the overseas transportation and on-site installation stage, bringing it one step closer to operation at the customer’s facility.
